No Fun For Flacco

I have seen the numerous stories about Joe Flacco and his experimenting with riding a skateboard. Every article I read gets me more and more frustrated. Just because the Super Bowl is coming up means the Ravens quarterback is not allowed to have any fun? Seriously, the worst blog I have read about the incident was from yahoo. First of all, rarely does anyone tattle on all the other players that go out and get drunk or smoke weed and get in trouble prior to big games. We are all adults correct? I thought tattling stopped when you hit puberty. Apparently I was mistaking. I feel that what Joe Flacco does on his off time is his business. I know that my blog here is not a good read. But, I am just so flustered how everyone is jumping the bandwagon on this.

Flacco was interviewed Wednesday by “NFL Total Access” about the incident stating:

“I’d never been on a skateboard in my life, so I was literally riding it about 10 feet down my driveway just to see if I could stand on it and stay upright,” Flacco said Wednesday on “NFL Total Access.” “One of my neighbors must have called in looking for (Ravens general manager) Ozzie Newsome and left a voicemail on his secretary’s phone saying, ‘Hey, man, you got to let Joe Flacco know we’re trying to win the Super Bowl around here! He’s at home riding a skateboard. Somebody’s got to let him know what the deal is.’ “

The tattling neighbor? Baltimore Ravens Safety Ed Reed. Now tell me Mr. Reed, do you have nothing better to do with your time than spy on your quarterback? I find it kind of sad. I understand tip top shape for a big game. But, don't be childish about it. It doesn't really matter anyway since the Ravens have been working on getting rid of Flacco anyway. But only after that super bowl win right?
